Hello everyone. This is Juan Carlos Gastelum. I am a real estate investor in Texas. Today I’d like to continue with our series of book reviews and finish off the Robert Kiyosaki saga with this one, “The Real Book of Real Estate”. This is a book co-authored with 20 other real estate experts who are either members of Kiyosaki’s real estate team or just fellow investors. And yes, that includes his friend and former president, Mr. Donald Trump. One of the key notes, and a most relevant one for your mindset, at the end of the book that I’d like to point out is that Robert Kiyosaki discusses overcoming the fear of failing. He emphasizes the three biggest excuses the poor make for failure 1) lack of education, 2) laziness, and 3) fear of failure. Now, the solution, he says, is to not just get involved, but be committed to your goals and take massive action; and he raises the question: what is the difference between bacon and eggs? And he humorously responds to that question by saying that the chicken is involved, but the pig is committed. So our tip for today is for you to reflect on that and think about how committed you are to your goals. That’s it for now. Take care. Best wishes on your real estate journey and God bless!
