GENERATING REFFERALS

Hello everyone! This is Juan Carlos Gastelum.  I am a real estate investor in Texas.  This week, while taking a walk I was reflecting on a recent mindset seminar with Jerry Acuff the author of “The Relationship Edge”, and during that Think Tank Mastermind I asked him:  “Mr. Acuff, your book basically describes how to build long term relationships with customers, how do you build a relationship when you’re only doing like a one-off transaction?”. And I was referring to my wholesale business where you’re only going to buy one home from an owner, and you’re only going to sell that home once; “so how do you build the relationship with that owner from which you’re buying?”  He said: “Look, think about it in terms of referrals.  That’s how you can connect with someone; building that rapport.”    This leads us to our tip for today:  Even if it’s just a one-off transaction, if you´re really engaged in depth and communicated with that person as to what your values are, then that person is going to generate more referrals based on the wholesaling experience with you.
